My name is Rob Lockard , and WELCOME to the galleries of Enalo imagery!

I read recently that pictures don't take themselves, photographers with vision do. Believing that this statement is true, E. i. began completely by mistake, almost eight years ago.

As my images first took shape, I had the outside studio of the charming southeast with it's rich coastal, and mountain influences as my muses - inspiring me to capture the beautiful rolling hills, as well as the rolling waves .

After moving to the Washington D.C. area almost four years ago, I have learned that even the smallest of objects...or most insignificant of everyday events can posses great potential and power if caught in the act of process.

Slowing life down, and releasing this power through capturing an image, I have steadily progressived from a small, simple point-and-shoot camera to ever more powerful digital equipment...bringing me ever closer to what you will see within these pages today.

THE MESSAGE IN MY ARTWORK IS SIMPLE:

We live in a such a fast paced world that many of us blur through life.

E. i. attempts to record the simplest, most beautiful, as well as the most peculiar of events that go on around us each and every day. My hopes are that through my capturing of light and shapes, you may be able to take a moment and be able to actually enjoy what you may have missed.

So, here is to you being able to get that opportunity....
